personification does and don’ts !
DO. Take your own interpretation on the character. We are all for creativity, but we still like to see where the relation to the Disney character is. DO. Plot across movies. We encourage it. Sure, Flounder and Abu can be biffles. While we like the relationships in the movie, we also love crackship. Just make sure you aren’t upsetting anyone with your ships. Understand that Ariel may want a romance plot with Eric. It’s about a balance between canon and crack. DO. Get creative with ages. Here at ooh gosh! We like characters of all ages, so don’t just play teenagers or young adults.
DON’T. Stick with just mains. I know there are one or two that you may want, and we have a limit at four, but honestly some of the smaller characters can be so enjoyable. I’ve seen the best characters made from the smallest character in a film. DON’T. Play two characters from the same movie if they have a lot of interaction or it’s a highly popular movie. That’s just kind of selfish, and no one wants to roleplay with themselves. DON’T. Have a bunch of characters then do nothing with them. If you take on a character, we expect you to play them.

We are tagged as a ‘Disney and Friends’ personified site. So what exactly is that? Well really, it’s just a fancy way of saying we accept more than just classic Disney. For example, Pixar, Don Bluth and the like. There is a limit though to what we will accept. Really though, there is no harm in requesting. If we say no, we will give you solid reasons.
