PERSONALITY !

IMAGINATIVE: It's not very difficult to get John's mind going on an imaginative rant. You could say one word and already his head has come up with a type of world for that word and the many people that inhabit it. It's probably what makes him such a good storyteller but also what makes him possibly the worst listener of a story tale. Luce used to read to him and Michael at night just before bed and almost every night, John found himself interrupting her asking all sorts of questions about the type of people the story meant and what they were like. Though Michael seemed to get a good laugh at it, Luce didn't seem too fond of his interruptions. It's more than common now for John Darling to be telling any stories at camps or family get togethers that call for a round of stories.

CHILDISH: Though on the cusp of adulthood, John acts nothing like his age. He acts much more like his shoe size, eleven. He's been known to run off with his best friend, Peter, on some wild goose chase with no idea where they'll end up. It's what's half the fun according to John. He adores playing any type of game and is more than determined to win at it. If he does lose, which he often does if he plays against Peter, John throws somewhat of a tantrum. He often threatens the life of the game or stomps off to cool down.

IMPULSIVE: He may not seem as impulsive as his friend, Peter, but most of the time he is, in subtle ways. If Peter has another adventure he mentions, John's all gung-ho about it regardless of the possible consequences. Consequences just hold you back from what you really want to do so John Darling ignores them the best he can. If he decides he wants something, he'll stop whatever he's doing just to go get what he wanted. It's not that rare to hear that John Darling is trouble for his erratic behavior. He tends to like living life on an impulse and dealing with the consequences much later.

HISTORY !

Johnathan Napoleon Darling was the second born child to Mr. and Mrs. Darling in early February. The growing family lived right on the edge of London, experiencing both the city and country life. The family lived in London for several years even in time to welcome their third and last family member, Michael Darling. The now family of five decided to pack up and move to the ever growing city of Fantasia. To John, it was a dream come true. He had heard a lot of great things came from Fantasia and with the imaginative young mind that he had, he imagined a world that was one of a kind. When they arrived, it was everything John Darling could have hoped for and more.

As the years went on, the family stayed at Fantasia, deciding it was a much more suitable home than London. Fantasia was the reason for John hardly maturing into the young man he should've been. Instead of worrying about school, he was off worrying about the pirates coming onto the harbor. Girls? Forget them. Girls didn't understand the wild range of thoughts a boy had. At the time, John dragged his younger brother, Michael, into all of his bits of imagination. The two brothers were closer than ever until John Darling met a certain Peter Patkins. John can hardly remember the actual day the two met, but Peter held a similar mind track as him and seemed as impulsive as ever. It wasn't long until John followed him on many adventures around Fantasia. It was Peter that showed John the true vision of Fantasia, it wasn't necessarily all that great but you could make it great for yourself. Nowadays, it's rare to ever see John at home with the other Darlings as he's off with Peter with Michael not far behind him.
