"I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it.″ - Alice
NAME: Allison Carol Liddle NICKNAMES: Allis AGE: Twenty Two BIRTHDAY: May 2nd ORIENTATION: Heterosexual NATIONALITY: British OCCUPATION: Childrens' book author PLAYED BY: Amanda Seyfried DISNEY: Alice in Wonderland USER GROUP: Heroine
PERSONALITY !
IMAGINATIVE! Allis has a very active imagination. It's so active that she can create stories without much effort. It's a big reason why she was able to get into writing so easily. She loves creating worlds and characters out of absolutely nothing but the creativity in her own head. It can sometimes be a nuisance because if she grasps the hold of one creative thought, an entire string will follow, and because she's afraid of losing that train of thought – she'll stop whatever she is doing to jot it down in her small notebook. CURIOUS! Constantly looking for inspiration in every thing, Allis is incredibly curious. She will follow any path, regardless of where it might lead. She asks endless amounts of questions and she feels like she can never know too much information. She doesn't necessarily soak up this information like a sponge, in fact it kind of sifts out of her unless Allis finds it extremely interesting. She will often ask questions she has asked before and most times it will be in numerous different ways. STUBBORN! Allis doesn't like to do what other people tell her to do. She likes to do things her own way. It makes her have a very strong head about most things and because of this she's incredibly stubborn about how she does them. If she believes she's right about something then that's that. No matter if there is evidence saying otherwise, Allis is right...and she'll argue with you until you're blue in the face and give in. GULLIBLE! It doesn't take much to get Allis to believe what you are telling her. She's a bit too trusting, so part of her finds it incredibly easy to believe everything that someone tells her. She likes the idea that people won't hurt you if you trust them automatically. She has faith in the world, faith in people. Which is a lot more than one can say about everyone else.
QUIRKS: Allis constantly asks questions, and doesn't realize that it might come off as pestering. When she's nervous she rocks on her feet from heel to toe, heel to toe. She isn't quite sure why she does this, but she has since she was younger. Because her hair is incredibly long, Allis will often play with the ends of it, run her fingers through it, or pull it over her shoulder when anxious or upset. Whenever she is excited, Allis makes this squealing noise that can be quite annoying.
LIKES: Reading, adventures, finding things, getting lost, following people, asking questions, dancing, having a good time, getting dirty from being outdoors, flowers, when she is surprised, old movies, learning to play musical instruments, painting. DISLIKES: Bossy people, chess, getting hurt, feeling alone, smoking/smoke, not grasping the concept of something, having to be prim and proper, being told she can't do something because she's a girl, her mother, unhappy endings.
HISTORY !
Allison was born to Charles and Louisa Liddle. The youngest of five girls, Allis easily was forgotten in the mayhem of every day life. She was a quiet child, although always curious – her questions were the most she ever spoke to anyone. Her older sisters didn't always find her so peculiar, but when they all turned a certain age, they started to look down on Allis and her imaginative questions. She would ask ridiculous riddles that no one knew the answer to, and Allis was always questioning things about why things were the way they were. Her sisters just wanted things to go the way they were supposed to go.
Even though she wasn't accepted into her sisters' group, Allis was perfectly content with being herself. She could entertain herself for hours merely by following paths in her backyard, talking to butterflies, and flowers. Her parents weren't ever very worried about her, because they never really noticed her. When Allis was seven, her entire family moved to Fantasia. She was excited, it was an entire new world. Someplace she could explore. Her own personal wonderland. She explored her new backyard and neighborhood, and then when she was old enough she explored Fantasia. She found the good, the bad, and the awful about the city and she fell in love with it even more and more.
Growing up was something that Allis dreaded. She hated the idea of abandoning her games of imagination, but she knew it would have to come eventually. Throughout high school Allis was able to hold onto her creativity and imagination, but as graduation neared...she didn't have a clue what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. Her sisters had all grown up to either be mothers or successful business women, and Allis just wasn't interested in that.
Fortunately, through some stroke of luck, Allis found her calling. She took some writing and art classes in her first two years of college, and then at the age of twenty one published her first children's book. It did well, and she made quite a bit of money. Soon after that she published her second, and is currently working on her third. She does waitress on the side for some extra money, but the majority of her income is from her writing. Allis currently lives in an apartment in the city and focuses a lot of her time on her writing. When she isn't writing or waitressing, you can find her with her best friend Alistair Hatter...either just being with him or taking care of him; whichever the time calls for.
