"Well I don't know, I mean it's kinda hard to imagine yourself as a duchess when you're sleeping on a cold, hard floor... but sure, yeah, I guess every lonely girl would hope she's a princess." - Anastasia
NAME: Anya Stacia Romanovna NICKNAMES: Anyayaya AGE: Twenty One BIRTHDAY: September 23rd ORIENTATION: Heterosexual NATIONALITY: Russian OCCUPATION: Barista at a cafe PLAYED BY: Susan Coffey DISNEY: Disney Friends' Anastasia - Anastasia USER GROUP: Royalty
PERSONALITY !
STUBBORN! Many people claim to be stubborn, but Anya really is. She does things her way and only her way. She doesn't bend to other peoples' will because she honestly believes her way is the best way. She isn't arrogant or rude about it, but she will argue your head off until you concede. She doesn't meet many people who stay arguing with her because Anya just never loses fire. It's something she picked up from her father, who is just as stubborn as she is. If she were to find someone who argued back and forth with her and forced her to concede, Anya might have a heart attack. FEISTY! Maybe it stems from her being stubborn, but Anya is also extremely feisty. She has a fiery attitude, and is always finding something to pick apart and turn into a debate. She's got a temper that she tries to keep under check but sometimes just can't do it. She's a bit temperamental, especially when it comes to things that are really important to her going the way she wants them to go. UPBEAT! Despite the temper and the stubborn part of Anya, she can be incredibly upbeat and optimistic. She always likes to look on the bright side of things because she feels like there is enough negativity in the world as there is and it needs more happy thoughts. She is quite a bubbly person if she's in a good mood and it always shines through whenever she's excited for something. Even when arguing sometimes, if the argument isn't intense, she can come off as very optimistic. EXPLORATIVE! Anya loves going on adventures. She would travel her entire life if she could, but she hasn't really ever been anywhere but Russia and Fantasia City. She loves traveling paths that are unknown and she loves dragging her friends along even though they might not be too thrilled with the idea of going someplace they had never been before.
QUIRKS: Constantly flicks her hair out of her eyes, always wears hats, giggles behind her hands, twirls when excited, talks to herself when thinking deeply, fiddles with the ends of her sleeves, flips her cell phone open and shut when anxious, bounces on her toes when happy, claps hands when overjoyed.
LIKES: Music, her native language, cookies, warm clothes, hats, knitting, music boxes, dogs, the snow, hot chocolate, blini, sweets, pizza, Russia, memories, Christmas time, big ball gowns, fuzzy blankets, sleeping in, childhood stories, scented lotions, brownies, guitars, coffee, good food, family get togethers, being surprised. DISLIKES: Loud noises, being late, not being able to remember something, feeling rejected or unwanted, the summertime, too much light, not having enough space, whining sounds, unnecessary possessions, not having a watch, time going too fast or too slow, scary movies, not winning an argument, having ADD moments, when people don't know what they're talking about and cause arguments with invalid information or key points.
HISTORY !
Anya Stacia Romanovna was born to a wealthy hotel chain owner in Russia. Her mother was Fantasian, though, and so her childhood was spent with stories told of the other city and the lives they might have lived differently. Anya was the youngest of seven children, and therefore the most precious. Her brothers and sisters all helped around the Hotel, but Anya much preferred to play in the hidden corridors, explore the dark attics and cellars, and spend her days out in the garden doing who only knew what. Her adventurous personality was alluring to some people, but Anya was incredibly picky about who she allowed into her world of adventure and intrigue.
When she was give, Anya met Peter Dimitri, and instantly let him gain access to the games she played in the garden. They became incredibly fast friends, but Anya was always arguing with him about something or other. She began to rely on him to make her feel better, to add twists and turns to her story telling, and to make the days she spent in the Hotel more eventful. That all fell apart, though, when her eldest brother set fire to the Hotel one night and caused everything that Anya knew in her life to fall to pieces. She was so young when it all happened, and the event was so traumatic, that Anya can't really remember anything from her life in Russia. She can speak Russian fluently, and loves hearing about her home, but she can't remember anything on her own.
Shortly after the Hotel was burned down, Anya's parents moved the entire family (minus one brother) to her mother's home in Fantasia. That's really all Anya remembers as home, Fantasia. She grew up in the city full of life, and her imagination strengthened as she was able to roam the city and their new home as opposed to the same old corridors in the Hotel. Even with all this loveliness around her, Anya felt like something was missing, like some big part of her wasn't with her. She tried to get over it, but it continued to nag her mind.
As she grew up, the little memories that Anya did have from Russia disappeared altogether. She went to school, graduated, and then took on a full time job at the local cafe as a barista. She doesn't want to continue with school, and her parents know better than to argue with her or try to push her into something she didn't want to do. Until she gets the memories back, Anya will continue to feel incomplete.
