Alexander Berlioz Aristo wasn't the first person that you would imagine to fall in love, but it happened. He fell for one of his close friends, Ruth Marcille. She was the one person that gave Alex a reason to wake up every day. No one had actually known about Alex's big crush, only his one closest friend that he considered a brother, Max. Or at least that's what Alex thought he told Max. Did he even tell Max about it? Was Max even deserving to know? He kept the secret about him and Arielle going out for Pete's sake! Then again, the two were considered family by Alex, so he had to tell them.

Alexander sighed heavily before checking his watch, it was almost five thirty. He texted the two of them to meet him at Tony's by six. He was slightly getting worried, where were the two of them? Probably making out on Max's couch or something. That thought made Alex slightly chuckle, before checking his phone to see if they texted him back. Nothing. 'Don't panic Alex, their just running a little late. Max is probably having trouble with his dog and Ari is just doing her hair, yeah. Just simple things. They'll show up soon enough. Alexander thought to himself, which slightly calmed him.

He adjusted his jacket slightly, it was really cold outside today. Alex wasn't even in the restaurant and yet he was worried about Arielle and Max, so he decided to get a table, then he could worry about them. Alex walked in, looking over at the 'Seat yourself' sign, he walked over to a round table with three chairs. He moved two of them close to each other, just so Ari and Max could sit each other. Oh how Alex wished that could be him and Ruth, alone, on a date, without a care in the world. He pouted slightly at the thought before taking his seat at the opposite end of the chairs.

It was five thirty exactly and the young man was not even dressed yet. Scurrying around his house quickly he shoved on a nice shirt and a pair of jeans. Shoving the dog into the backyard, he nodded as his companion barked. “Sorry, puppy, I’m late and Alex is going to get angry.” He didn’t like leaving Fluffy, in fact he usually took Fluffy everywhere with him. Still, he had to do this one thing for Alex. His younger brother type figure had some very exciting news to share. It had something to do about having a crush on a certain young girl and Max was very excited to find out all the news. He had not seen Alex in a while, which was a few days in their time. Still, it would be nice to catch up again.

Arielle was joining them too as the two boys considered her a sister. However ever since a few other certain things had gone down, Max thought of Ari more as a girlfriend. After all, incest was illegal. Not that they had slept together or anything but still, thinking of her as a sister now was kind of gross. So instead he just stuck with girlfriend which felt even weirder to him. He was really not used to thinking of her in that way when in truth he had liked her as more than a friend for a very long time. It was perfect really and he loved it. Still, he was slightly confused about a few things. Although Jim had tried to help him out it really had not worked very well and the confusion had stuck. Maybe some of questions would be answered tonight.

At exactly five past six the shaggy haired man ran into Tony’s. It was right near the pet store and he should probably have checked that whoever was on last shift had closed up properly. Oh well, he could check all that after dinner. Alexander was waiting anyway and everyone knew how impatient he could be, especially when he had news. Max spotted his friend sitting at a round table near the rear corner of the restaurant. Walking over he noticed that two of the chairs were pushed quite close together and Alex was sitting in the chair opposite. Grinning he slid into the chair on the right and looked down at the younger boy.

It seemed as though it had been years since he had seen Alex. The boy had certainly grown quite a bit and would be catching up to Max very shortly. “Sorry I’m late. Ari should be here soon too I hope,” he grinned at Alex. His whole body was simply beaming. He could not wait to find out about this secret crush. Gossip was fun, especially when they involved love and crushes. Now they only had to wait for Arielle and then the fun would really begin.
