NURTURING! Jillian has always been a rather maternal sort of person. It’s always been a part of who she is; the desire to nurture people. She’s most content when she has someone to look after. Even if it’s as simple as just cooking her family a meal, or being there to hug or comfort someone. Sure, she may take it a tad bit over the top sometimes (putting each part of her child’s packed lunch in sepate plastic bags or containers with labels much?), but she honestly couldn’t help herself. A lot of it had to do with her up-bringing. There was always someone in her house that needed something when she was younger, and the older she became, the more she found herself content with being a housewife. If she didn’t need to money, she’d still be one.

GENTLE! A soft soul. Jill has always been a quiet, gentle person. She hates violence or raising her voice. Her soft nature draws a lot of people in. Of course, with such a quiet temperament, she can often allow people to use her. Jill often feels unhappy about this, but she puts that aside and helps the person as best she can. Still though, to those who don’t take for granted her easy temperament, she can be a valued person to have around. She’s often light-hearted, and has such a gentle, tingling laugh.

UNDERSTANDING! As a deep feeling person, Jill has always been rather in tune with others. Even at a young age she’s always been able to identify with others and their feelings. She may not always know exactly what the other person is feeling but she always tries to hear them out and understand, so she can then work out a way to help them through things. She’s the sort to feel things on behalf of those she loves too. Feeling their joy, their fear. It also means she spends a great deal of time worrying about other people’s feelings instead of her own. Perhaps making her a bit of a martyr..

HISTORY !

It’s often wondered how such a gentle person could come from such a hectic house. Jillian was the eldest child of four, and her house was always full of noise and laughter. Her mother, Kate, was a gentle woman herself though. Sorting out her children’s squabbles as softly and mild-mannered as she could. In fact, most people say that Jillian is just the younger version of Kate. Which is okay by her. She loves and respects the woman, knowing how ward she worked for the family. Growing up, Jillian never had money to throw away, but she never went without anything either. It was only when she was older did she find out just how hard her parents worked to send the children to private school, and make sure they had wonderful birthdays and Christmases. Which is why, now, she goes out of her way to help her parents.

As a young woman, there was only ever one man for Jill. Andrew Marcille. She met the young man in her sophomore year of high school, and from the first time she saw him, the young man made her heart go all a flutter. They started out as friends, but it wasn’t long until a tentative relationship formed between them. He was her first. First date, first kiss. First everything really. Love between them blossomed strong and during the summer after they graduated high school, the lovers were married on a whim. A beautiful low-key garden ceremony. Within the first two months of being married, Jill was pregnant.

Instead of going to college, Jill stayed at home with the baby while her husband got an education, and then a solid job in a bank. When the child was four, Jill started studying nights at a community college, thinking maybe when her little darling was a bit older she may consider becoming a pre-school teacher. This turned out to by a rather prophetic choice, because before the couple were even married ten years, the happy home was ruptured. When their child was just seven, there was a fire in the building Andrew worked in. He was in the bathroom at the time, and when the alarm had been raised, the path from the bathroom to the exit was blocked. He was rescued by fire fighters, but died later in the hospital.

Jill was completely devastated, however she couldn’t let her child see that. She moved them from the house full of memories and did what she could to build them both a new life. Crying only when her child was asleep and safe in bed. It took Jill a long time, but she came to terms with the loss of her husband. Now she faces the world with her child at her side, but is very cautious of letting any man near her romantically. In fact, she refuses.
