PERSONALITY !

ARROGANT! Anything you can to, Leo can do better. And he’ll tell you about it. Leo thinks very highly of himself and he doesn’t let anyone set limitations on himself. He does what he pleases, even when it’s probably the complete wrong choice. Often times he does things just to prove that he can. Leo can be a bit short sighted when it comes to his own abilities, thinking he can handle a situation when it’s clearly beyond him. When things don’t go right, he will blame everything else, not his own faults. It’s never his fault, clearly.

BLASE! Hakuna matata, right? Leo lives in the present, refusing to think about the past, or even the future. Nothing matters but the right now, and if he’s enjoying the right now then all is right with the world. He is rather indifferent about making plans, or dealing with responsibility. Instead he just goes through life, living from whim to whim, doing as he pleases without considering what may come of his actions. That’s for his future self to worry about, and really, he just doesn’t care in the slightest. Life is for the living, not worrying about stupid stuff.

PROTECTIVE! While he himself likes to throw himself into dangerous situations, he doesn’t like those he loves doing it. He’ll often go off half-baked with a plan that probably won’t work, just to save a loved one. Often from something they don’t actually want to be saved from. He wouldn’t let anyone do it for him, so he’s probably rather hypercritical throwing caution to the wind like that to save other people. Not that you can tell him that, or his cocky, arrogant nature will kick in and he’ll tell you the million ways he’s right.

QUIRKS: When things get tough, he runs away from the problem. He sometimes sleeps in his hammock outside.

HISTORY !

Leo was born into a very wealthy family. It would be nice to say that the money his family had was sue to hard work, or even an old fortune. Truth be told he was surrounded by dirty money. The proud family was deeply involved in the Fantasian Mafia. In fact his father was a highly respected ‘boss’. Who basically got to sit back and call the shots while those around him under-took criminal acts and he got the benefits. Growing up, Leo was unaware of this. All he wanted to do was have adventures with his Na-Na. The two of them got themselves into trouble constantly, and they loved it. Nala was a family friend, whom he’d known all his life, and had been his best friend as long as he could remember.

As teenagers, nothing changed between them. Except for the trouble they got themselves in. It seemed to only get worse with age. His father had to bail them out of trouble many times when Leo had done something all half-cocked. Without considering it properly. Leo hated that. He wished his father would just let him be, so he could figure things out for himself. One day, he felt he got that chance. There was some resentment towards his father in the lower rankings of the mafia, and Leo thought he could deal with it himself. He couldn’t though, and like always his father came to the rescue. This time though, it didn’t go so well. His father was shot. Dazed, Leo heard someone tell him to run- so he did. Then let those at the scene deal with it, and cover it up. Never telling anyone the truth. Or the truth from his understanding.

In the months since his father’s death, Leo retreated into himself, pushing everyone away. Including Nala. However after the initial shock of it all, he went on like nothing had changed. Not letting what had happened affect him. Or at least, not letting anyone think it had. Suppressing his guilt, and what had happened that night. Feeling like the only way to deal is just to pretend it never happened.

Leo has known for a while know that is expected he marry Nala, to keep it all in the family so to speak, however now they are older and it’s a real threat, he’s not sure about it. She’s like... a sister.. ew.
