[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,355,true] Some would call Johnathon Little crazy. And maybe they were right. John stood by his conviction though. If you wanted the best club sandwich in the whole of fantasia, you needed to drive yourself out of the city to the airport and get lunch (or dinner, or any meal even. Club sandwiches suited any meal) at the little cafe there, and order the club on rye bread with honey mustard. It was heaven, no doubts about that. The man had attempted to find something just as good, but so far, he hadn’t succeeded. The man had no idea exactly what it was about the particular sandwich. Really, how hard was it to make a sandwich? It was one of those un-solved mysteries really. How the same sandwich could taste so different made and different places. Whatever made this so good though wasn’t the point. The point was, he loved them and they were worth the effort.
Pulling his car into a free park, LJ frowned. He had to admit, this was a part of the whole process that wasn’t so worth it. Parking at the airport was really expensive. Sure, the man had a decent job, but he couldn’t afford that kind of thing too often. The sandwich was already expensive enough, considering everything was inflated at the airport. So add parking on top of that, it made it a really expensive treat. Which was why, no matter how often he craved them the young man had to limit his trips out for the delightful treat. He’d been such a good boy though lately, and he had the day off, so it seemed like the perfect occasion to take a nice drive and have his most favourite thing for lunch.
He may even make a full day of it and go somewhere nice after, but that was future Johnny’s concern, the only thing to worry about now was getting his sandwich. Letting himself out of his rust-bucket of a car, John locked his baby. Sure it was an old piece of shit, but it was his piece of shit and he loved it. Giving the old girl a pat on the bonnet as he stepped away. He then gave his stomach a pat. “Soon, baby, soon.” The big bear of a man soothed his gut with a chuckle. Since he had decided to get the club, he’d been craving it immensely. So much so, that he felt twice as hungry than usual. Sticking his keys into his pocket, the man made his way with large strides towards the terminal. He wondered if people would find it odd, coming all the way here for lunch, but who cared. If he was crazy, then he didn’t want to be sane.
