"I dunno, he looks kinda hairy and slobbery to me." - Scuttle
NAME: Maximus Charlie Gray NICKNAMES: Max, Maxxie AGE: Twenty-four years BIRTHDAY: September 12th ORIENTATION: Bisexual NATIONALITY: English / Fantasian OCCUPATION: Dog Trainer / Pet Shop Worker PLAYED BY: Jared Padalecki DISNEY: Max the dog from the Little Mermaid USER GROUP: Quirky Friend
PERSONALITY !
IMAGINATIVE! Max has a very good imagination. He likes to slip away into fairy tales of his own and loves to let his imagination run wild. Although he does sometimes take this too far and let reality slip away it is just harmless fun and reflective of his more childlike personality. He likes to let himself slip into a fantasy and pretend like he is living a totally different life. Sometimes when he meets new people he likes to pretend that he is someone else, even going so far as to make up a fake name and family. After a while of course this pretend kind of thing gets old and he decides to pull himself back into reality although he isn’t always happy to do so. In his spare time he does like to write books about various things he’s thought up although he is yet to have one published. MISCHIEVIOUS! Being rather imaginative, Max has a way with tricks. He is often getting into very interesting situations, however with his mind he usually does not get discovered. He likes to cause trouble for other people in various different ways. Pranks are usually just one of those kinds of things he loves to do. He gets a kick out of creating mischief and he could not care less what other people could think about him. Although many of his pranks do not turn out quite just how he wanted them to, he does still have fun watching the innocent bystanders who become involved. It just makes him laugh, watching people wonder about what strange things are going on in town. Yes, he’s twenty four but seriously, he can have fun if he wants to. ATHLETIC! For his whole life, Max had been trained as a runner. Running was simply his life and it was what he did and still does today. Every morning he gets up and goes for a run be it rain, hail or shine. In one point, it helps him to get away from any damage he’s caused quickly but that is not exactly why he loves it. Max just loves the feeling of the wind against his face and the way his hair flicks back behind him whilst he pushes onward. He was champion runner at his school three years running and had been on the football team for as long as anyone can remember. He has numerous trophies at home; of course not all of them are for athletics. Still, he loves the sense of achievement he feels when he wins a race or even if he comes second or third. It makes him feel great and that’s all he’s ever wanted. Oh yeah, and the great body helps get the girls. CHARMING! For some reason being athletic helps a whole lot with getting women. Max has it all and he seems to be a very charming brute. His fuzzy hair and the way he flicks it just seems to make girls swoon and of course, that is the reaction he is going for. His more fun side seems to lure the nicer girls in and his goofy grin just brings them in further. Although he is not the smoothest talk he makes up for that in the face that his whole presence screams ‘charmer’. His smouldering look is one that wins the hearts of most girls. Of course, many at the end of the night do leave him with only a sore cheek. Many of his attempts to gain girls affections do fail like this but some of them also succeed. He tries his best and gets what he gets. So basically, his main charm is his fun sense and goofiness. Only where in the world are you going to find a pretty girl who will actually go for a guy like that? ENERGETIC! Being athletic, one would need to find some energy to fuel all of those extra training sessions and Max seems to have a lot of energy inside himself. He goes for his morning run and still finds time to take the dog for a walk and then work at the pet store. Many would question where this energy is coming from but he simply states that it is in his blood. He works as a dog trainer which means that he has to be ready to chase a dog down a street when he decides not to stay or come. Max has found ways of keeping his energy levels up, like coffee in the morning always seems to work. But really he is just an energetic guy and it’s really just in his nature to be like that.
QUIRKS: He has the cheesiest grin where his whole face just kind of wrinkles up and he looks like such a dork.
LIKES: Dogs, pets, football, running, pranks, girls, his mercedes, happy personalities, grayscale, youtube, excitement DISLIKES: Animals becoming endangered or extinct, animal cruelty, too much colour, negative people, boredom, being caught out for his pranks, fast food, bad chinese take out, soap operas, being tired, dogs who don't listen to him, his boss
HISTORY !
Maximus Charlie Gray was born to Mr Andrew Gray and Mrs Isabelle Gray. The two were from a very high up family but that did not matter in the slightest to Max. They owned a large house in England as Andrew himself was English and had convinced Isabelle to move there after their meeting in Fantasia City. Although Isabelle was reluctant at first in the end she did agree on the condition that every summer they take a holiday to Fantasia so that Max can see where he is from. So from the time he was a year old Max and his family travelled to Fantasia City every summer and staying in one of their family homes there in Duckberg which was close to the inner city.
As a young boy Max looked forward to these trips every year as he loved being in Fantasia. To him it was an escape from all the pressure his family put him under to do well academically. But really he wanted to be an athlete, not take over the family business despite the fact that his father desperately wanted him to. So when he was five Max joined the athletics team and told his father that it was what he wanted to do. His father simply dismissed it as young rebellion but thought that his son would of course change his mind. But Andrew evidently did not know his son very well for Maximus was very determined to pursue his athletics.
When Maximus was ten his parents decided to create a distraction for him from his athletics. The only way they could think of was to find him something that would take up more of his time. So of course, they bought him a puppy. It was an Old English sheepdog and the young boy called him Shaggy, as he could not think of anything else that would suit the beautiful sheepdog. The boy and dog soon became attached at the hip and they went everywhere they could together. Although Andrew and Isabelle thought it would distract their son from athletics he took to taking Shaggy out into the backyard and playing a massive game of chase to encourage himself to run faster. This just made him love running every more and three years late he was on the football team at school.
Max’s parents were not all too happy about him being on the team and they avoided each of his matches. But that did not discourage him. Instead he just brought Shaggy along and tied him up to the fence so he could watch the game and not run away. But all good things did have to come to an end. When Max was sixteen, Shaggy was getting old. The dog’s collar was wearing away and during one of the matches it broke. Upon seeing a bird, the still adventurous dog rushed after the strange creature and Max ran off the field to pursue his best friend. But even through all those years of practice and training he was not fast enough. Shaggy got onto the road and the driver was not quick enough. A car hit Shaggy square on the side. The poor dog had to be put down after it was discovered that there was nothing else they could do for him. Max was heartbroken and so utterly upset to farewell his greatest friend.
The teen decided he needed to have run faster and so the training simply intensified and he put all of his effort into it. He made champion three years in a row and his parents lost all hope that he would take over the family business when he was older. Soon enough, Max was nineteen and out of school. That was when he made the decision. He was going to live in Fantasia. His parents were so disheartened but they agreed and decided to let him stay in their family home in Duckberg. So Max packed his bags and moved out. His parents spoilt him and when he arrived there was a black Mercedes waiting in the garage for him.
Now Max works as a dog trainer and is one of the executive workers at the local pet store. When he was twenty-one he bought a new dog, Fluffy, who is also an Old English sheepdog. He still misses Shaggy but Fluffy is also a perfect companion. The pair are just as inseparable and Max loves him to death, of course let’s hope it does not come to that just yet.
