PERSONALITY !

INDEPENDENT! After looking after her father and moving to Fantasia all by herself, Megara gained her sense of independence at quite a young age. While her independence has allowed her to have the confidence to go out and get what she wants, it has always made her quite stubborn when it comes to letting others help her out. She doesn't like to rely on others, as she has it in the back of her mind that all people will just end up leaving her in the end.

CYNICAL! Megara has a lack of trust for people in general, convinced that post people are controlled by selfish motives. After her mother left Megara and her father in Greece and after her first love ditched her for another girl, she has become very guarded, careful not to let people get too close to her. Megara has also proved to be very pessimistic, choosing only to ever really think idealistically when it is required in her acting. It is very rare to see an optimistic side of her as she has become so doubtful over the years.

MANIPULATIVE! Oh yes, the girl uses her acting chops for both good and evil. This girl knows how to turn it on when she needs to, usually whenever she's going after something she wants. She's a beautiful young woman that is aware of the fact that she has sex appeal. She knows how to flirt and make the boys turn their heads, a hobby that she has taken on to prove that she'll never be fooled again by a man.

QUICK-WITTED! Due to her beautiful looks, people often underestimate Megara's intelligence and are quite shocked whenever she unleashes quite informative information or witty little comments that could shut anyone down in an instant. HISTORY !

Carlos Tomaras and Katherine Northman met on the Greek Island Santorini where the Tomaras family owned a small hotel that was popular with tourists from various different English speaking countries. Katherine was an American from New York traveling Greece after college. As soon as the two met, they hit it off. When Carlos wasn't working for his parents hotel, he was spending all of his moments with the young and beautiful Katherine. It was a true summer romance, something special...or so the young couple had thought at the time. After only month of seeing each other, Katherine informed Carlos that the had fallen pregnant.

Katherine knew that she wasn't ready for a child, but Carlos was excited by the news. Even though he had only known Katherine for a month, he knew that she was the woman that he was meant to spend his life with. Katherine wasn't so sure about spending her future with Carlos, but seeing an opportunity to live a great life in Greece, she accepted Carlos's marriage proposal and began preparing for the birth of their child. The couple were married three months into the pregnancy.

Nine months later Megara Iris Tomaras was born. Carlos felt blessed by the beautiful baby girl that had now come into their lives. When the baby was born Katherine thought that everything would have fallen into place. While she was happy enough living in Greece with Carlos, she always felt like something (or someone) was missing from her life. The empty void was not filled for her when Megara was born and soon realised that she missed her ex-boyfriend, her first love that she never really got over. Still, she kept on pretending for many years that she was the happiest she could be while Carlos raised his daughter while Katherine merely watched in the background.

Megara was about eight years old when her mother received a letter from her first love, requesting she return to America because he was still in love with her. After eight years of pretending to be happy, it didn't take much before Katherine convinced herself to go. She informed Carlos that while he was great, she'd had always regretted leaving her first love behind. With that, she said her goodbyes to Megara, telling her that she was welcome to visit when she was older and that they would keep in contact. This upset Megara as she couldn't understand why her mother was leaving. Katherine had failed to mention that she was leaving Megara's father for another man.

After that, Carlos and Megara became much more closer as they lived on the island of Santorini, just a few house down from Megara's grandparents. The father and daughter had always been close, but with Katherine's absence, they began to rely on each other more to provide each other comfort. Carlos still felt blessed by the fact that he had a daughter that would never leave him. Megara would occasionally visit her mother and her step father in America, but for the most part, she remained in Greece with her father while she helped out with the family business.

It was before high school when Megara realised that she wanted to get out of Santorini and experience new things. She wanted to get out there, see the world, which proved to be a very touchy subject whenever she brought it up with her father. The two fought a lot over her leaving, as she wanted to attend boarding school in Fantasia. After her father finally gave in and told her why her mother left, Megara could understand why her father didn't want her to leave as well. Carlos was scared that he would lose his daughter too.

Eventually, Megara managed to convince her father to let her go, after reassuring him that she loved him and that she would never leave him like her mother did. So to Fantasia Megara went, where she discovered her love for acting in her boarding school's drama program. She would return to Greece every vacation that she had to see her family, making sure she would write to her father at least weekly.

In her junior year of high school, Megara fell in love with a young man that was in her drama class. In one of the school's plays he played Romeo while she played Juliet and they hooked up at the play's after party. The two of them dated from their junior year of high school right through to their freshman year of college where they both took a drama course. While Megara was focused on her studies, her boyfriend got into the partying scene. As a party prank, her boyfriend and his group of friends flooded the Dean's car as well of the ground floor of the main office building.

Being in love with her boyfriend, Megara took the blame, knowing that she would only receive a suspension while her boyfriend would be expelled because of his previous antics and his poor grades. After her suspension, Megara returned to her studies, thinking that her boyfriend would thank her with open arms, feeling bad that she had to take the blame. However, Megara discovered that her boyfriend had dropped out of college anyway, running off with another girl. All her efforts for him had been for nothing and she was left heartbroken, vowing that she would never allow any man to fool her like that again.

"So how long have you been in Charleston?" The blonde asked in a flirtatious manner that proved to Elijah that she was trying way too hard. Alana hadn't had to even really try to intrigue him so far as it appeared to come naturally with her. With the blonde woman that stood before him, Elijah felt that all his attention on her was forced as he struggled to keep his eyes off of Alana and the douche bag she was with. It was proving to be very difficult indeed. "Not long." Elijah spoke, leaning forward towards the blonde as if he were acting in a play. He knew all the right things to say and do to get a woman into his bed. He was most definitely an actor of sorts...a very good actor. "What do you do for fun in a place like this?" He asked with a smirk, struggling to keep the boredom from his voice. "Oh you know, stuff." The blonde said with a giggle that Elijah had to try so hard not to roll his eyes at.

Elijah's eyes drifted over to Alana as pretty boy slid his hand up her leg. Elijah felt the urge to walk right over there and punch the guy right in the face, not admitting to himself that he was indeed jealous of the man that was receiving Alana's attention. However, he was also unaware of the fact that Alana was just as bored as he was with her own companion. At that moment Elijah wasn't too fond of the game that he and Alana had conjured up for themselves. He was not having fun, but would continue with playing the game as he was not one that liked to lose. For Alana, he would keep up appearances, pretend as if she was just another girl and that he had plenty of girls waiting in line to see him.

The attractive nomad snickered as the pretty boy caved under Alana's irresistible charm, proving that he was most definitely not ready for someone like her. Elijah attempted to keep his attention on the blonde but was soon distracted by the bartender who brought him another beer. A look of confusion entered Elijah's face before he allowed himself to look at Alana fully for the first time this evening. Realising that it was Alana who had bought him the drink. A smirk curved onto Elijah's lips has he realised that Alana wasn't as into the guy she was flirting with as she lead people to believe.

Curtly, Elijah nodded a thanks in her direction, his eyes dancing with playfulness before he even noticed that the blonde was getting annoyed that his attention was on the sexy brunette on the other end of the bar. Before Elijah could walk away from the blonde and steal away Alana (the girl Elijah realised that he wanted to spend this evening with) from the pretty boy she was with, the blonde surprised him with a rather possessive kiss on the lips. When she moved away with a pitiful seductive face on her features, Elijah found it difficult to not pretend he was disgusted by her overly forward behavior. Once again he found himself desiring a kiss from Alana. "Someone's frisky." Elijah commented, rolling his eyes openly this time. The blonde was looking too smug with herself to notice.
