PERSONALITY !

CONCEITED! Gaston is one of the most conceited people you will ever meet. The only person he is truly in love with is himself. He believes that he is God's gift to women and that he is the best in everything that he does. This naturally unleashes a competitive side of him especially if the prize (in his mind) is something that he desires.

SMALL-MINDED! It seems that Gaston has it etched in his head that he is always right, no matter the circumstances. Others opinions don't mean a lot to him unless he can get something out of it as he is quite selfish. He takes part in a lot of things that he knows will bring him some form of glory and rarely takes note of the small things in life that make life special. He believes that it's the bold deeds in life are the most important. Also, when solving a problem, he prefers to use physical force rather than talking things through.

SEXIST! Yes, he's one of those sexist guys that believes that women are only good for a few things: producing children, sex in general, marriage, looking after a home and tending to their man's needs just to name a few. He loves woman and often expects them to be all over him and dislikes outspoken women that resist him. However, with the women that resist him, he tends to put in a little more effort to go after them because he loves a challenge.

CUNNING! Gaston is a very deceitful person that will often manipulate others to get his own way, no matter what the consequences may be. The determination he possesses makes him practically unstoppable, but the impulsive side effect tends to lead him into trouble. While he has a cunning nature, it is proof of intelligence none the less. If brought up differently, Gaston would be able to use his mind for great things rather than just scheming. However, his desire for power is far to strong for this to occur at this present time.

INSECURE! Underneath all that arrogance is a man who is very insecure. It is a side that rarely appears on the surface but a part of him worries about what would happen if he lost all the power he has over people. He is utterly insecure about what his father thinks of him as he knows that his father is counting on him to progress the family legacy.

HISTORY !

Gaston was born as an only child to French parents Andre and Amelie Durand. His father had inherited a large fortune and a successful advertising company in France when his father had passed away because of cancer. It didn't take long for his father to gain a reputation that his workers both feared and adored and it was only a few years before he had an office set up in Fantasia City.

When Gaston was three, Andre moved his son an his wife with him into a large mansion in Fantasia City. While Andre worked, Amelie was a housewife...a housewife with assistance from a team of staff that helped to run the household. Andre was raised in an old fashioned manner where the wife would stay home to look after the children, so this tradition was passed down through generations.

As Gaston grew older, his father's influences gradually began to form Gaston into the man his father thought he should be. A lot of pressure had been place upon Gaston at a very young age as he was the only son of Andre and Amelie's which forced Gaston to grow up faster. Gaston soon began to lap up all the attention he was getting due to his fathers status and took advantage of the fact.

In high school he was one of the most (if not the most) popular guys in school. At the age of sixteen he had lost his virginity to a senior which got to his head. From then on he was a known player that could basically gain any woman he wanted. He spent most of his high school days partying and sleeping around, only just getting by in his classes.

When he graduated, Gaston's father made him take a course at college for advertising so that he would be prepared to take over the family business when the time came. Gaston's partying ways continued and his father tended to bribe Gaston's lecturers into giving him better grades so that he could graduate.

Now that Gaston is approaching closer to thirty in age, his father is pushing for Gaston to settle down and find himself a nice woman that he can eventually marry and have children with. However, Gaston isn't sure he's ready for that, but is still attempting to obey his father's wishes.
