MANDY LOUISE DORIAN
"hey there mr. grumpy gills, when life gets you down,
do you wanna know what you've got to do?"[/i][/center]
[/blockquote][/blockquote]so this is the twenty two year old mandy louise dorian, but call her dory, and dory only. it's how she's most likely to introduce herself to anyone new, because it's what she's been called ever since she was a baby. few remember that she was named mandy in the first place, because short term memory loss runs in the family. her mother is your typical amnesiac, which lead to dory having a rather disastrous childhood verging on the edge of peril, all the time. she nearly drowned in the bathtub thrice because her mother forgot she'd left her there - anyhow, we'll leave the nice little anecdotes about childhood for a later time, dory's the type of person who'd tell you her whole life story, if only she could remember it.
she's a lovely little person, with a childlike innocence who sees the best in people, in things - she's one of those rare people who can find diamonds in the rough, in the mud, in any dirty place possible, because she's got an eye out for it. she doesn't believe in giving up, she's rather a relentless pursuer of what she believes in, and it'd do you a world of good to listen to her, because most of the time she's spot on right about things. she's inituitive, and tends to see all the shades of grays in a situation - she's also THE perfect friend. okay, if you'd just met her, she'd forget who you her in a matter of seconds - she has attention defficiency disorder and short term memory loss, sorry - but once she catches on that you need a shoulder to cry on, she'd be there. she's also pretty good with advice, and she can make a person feel better in a matter of seconds - her positive outlook of life is contagious, and her charisma just swipes everyone along with it. in many ways, her ideal career choice would have been psychology, but of course, that was out of question with her memory loss. she's taking night-time classes, though, because that's what she wants to be - a psychologist, so she can help people. For now, she's an artist, though. everyone needs money to survive, and that's her mean of earning it.
tadaa! it got a bit essay-like in the end, didn't it? so i'm cutting it short. give her friends - patient ones - give her flinges, just throw anything you have my way and we'll work something out. cookies for plotters. <3
