HEROIC! Throughout his entire life, Robbie has stood up for the little guy. There’s a part of him that dies inside every time he sees someone mistreated. He’s never really cared if standing up for someone hurt himself, he did it for them anyway. And maybe because he just loves being loved. He really loves to have people love him and seriously dislikes it when someone has a problem with him. He wants to be everyone’s favorite person, well anyone who has become victim to some sort of injustice. He likes being able to help people, make them feel better about themselves, or just plain feel better. He loves kids with all his heart, which is why he has decided to become a Pediatrician. Some people like to poke fun at him because he is one of the only guys in his class, but he tries to ignore it. They just make him laugh and he loves their innocent outlook on the world. He loves joking around with them too, since he is quite the jokester.

ROMANTIC! Robbie is a hopeless romantic. He loves the flowers, the chocolates, the whole cliché shebang. He doesn’t go quite as far as reciting poetry, but he has quite the silver tongue. He always had a way with words that made him able to charm any woman he had eyes for,which was really only one. He loves making a woman feel special and loved, just because he likes feeling like he’s done something good for someone. He likes having that sense of accomplishment. Plus he is just a real people pleaser. He’s always eager to help. It’s simply a part of who he is. He hates it when they cry so he tries to do his best to keep them happy all the time. He isn’t very good at dealing with crying women.

STUBBORN! Probably one of his most frustrating personality traits is his stubbornness. When he puts his mind to something he won’t stop until he follows through. And when he decides something there’s no changing it. He’s hard headed and usually thinks he’s right, about everything. Sometimes he’s right, but other times he can get himself into a ton of trouble. He is unable to hold himself back and admit that he’s wrong sometimes and it can be very frustrating. But it is this trait that got him through his entire life, deciding that when he started something, he would finish it. It took him through many longer years of medical school and his even more difficult high school years and made him into the man he is today.

COCKY! One thing about Robbie that is really annoying is his over confidence in himself. He thinks that he can do anything and everything that he puts his mind to, which is true, but he thinks he can do it without anyone's help. He likes to be the teacher, not the student. He loves showing off and if he helps someone out in the process, great! Even better! He likes to think showing off is an extra bonus. He could use a piece of humble pie, but there's not too many things wrong with thinking you're the best all the time, right?

FIT! One thing that Robbie loves more than anything else is being active. He loves doing anything and everything exciting, from going to theme parks to water skiing. He loves sports and being active. He played virtually every sport in high school and loves to be busy. He would go crazy if he wasn't doing something most of the time, because he really can’t stand being idle for long periods of time.

HISTORY !

Robbie was born in Nottingham shire, England and lived there his entire pre-adult life. As a kid he was pretty satisfied with his life. He had two great parents, an amazing best friend, Marian, and plenty of nice things. He had no issues fitting in at school or with his parents. He spent most of his days laughing and playing with Marian. This female friend of his, caught his eye ever since he knew her. She was kind, beautiful, and willing to do any of the crazy things he asked her to. He secretly liked her, a lot. But after she moved away, everything started going downhill. His father joined the British Army to aid the American forces in Iraq leaving him and his mother alone. With his father gone and Marian too, he became extremely lonely. He missed having Marian there to talk to and laugh with, so he entered high school as a loner.

It didn't stay that way long tough, because he found out that he was apparently, an extremely sough after and attractive guy. So he dated a bit, even though Marian was always in the back of his mind, and made some new friends. Actually, a lot of new friends, and soon Marian became but a distant memory. He concentrated on sports, his studies, and picking off the school bullies one by one, while still taking care of his mom. He was able to love the beautiful landscape of England from a very young age. He loved the forests mostly, and would often go out there to shoot around with his bow and arrow, something that he had done with Marian frequently. However, he did eventually leave.

Robbie left Nottingham shire to study at Oxford. Even though the education he received was fabulous, he just didn’t feel like he was really a good match for the school l itself. He started over again, but like before he easily made new friends. Even so, college life didn’t treat him very well, and he found himself getting much too caught up in the sports and social life of it all. He finished his first four years there, but he thought it would be a good idea to transfer before he started the next year. He thought the answer was a smaller university. He searched all over the country, and even out of it until he found what he was looking for in the Tomas University. Something about the town, the people, and the campus just drew him towards it, and in that way it seemed utterly perfect.

It was odd, and surprising the reaction you saw on Gregory’s face when he talked about college. He couldn’t be considered a nerd, not really anyway. He was a cool guy. He had lots of friends, a vast social life, and a plan that didn’t envolve learning for nearly every night of the week. He could be defined as a cool guy, but the way his smile lifted and his eyes got brighter when he talked about what he learned at UCLA, said otherwise. He loved going to school, which was odd because he absolutely hated high school. There, he was a nerd, but that was because every guy at his high school was a gang member, crack head, or a felon. Okay, maybe not every guy at his school, but a large majority was. He was very out of place there. He was the wimpy emo kid that was sexually assaulting his guitar, or at least that’s what they all said. But for the most part, tit wasn’t true. He didn’t cut his wrists, nor did ever even consider being involved like that with anything other than a woman. Perhaps he could’ve put it down for a little longer than five minutes, but that doesn’t matter now, it’s in the past. Now he can carry his guitar around all freakin’ day if he wanted to, because all of his class mates did the same thing. He was in the middle of his third year at UCLA, and he really hadn’t enjoyed it until this year because the first two years was basically a repeat of high school, academic wise anyway. The difference was, he wasn’t a loser anymore.

Despite how much Greg liked college, he like everyone else, eventually needs a break every once in awhile, and so that was why he was here in Florida, ready to enjoy a long vacation from LA. The main reason he had come to Florida though, was not for Disney World at all, but to see his girlfriend, who had made a major disappearance from his life that he was not very happy about. He had made plans to come down with her and her friends early in the year, but then the two of them got in an argument and haven’t really talked since, sure they exchanged a few simple words, but it was obvious that they weren’t acting the same as before the fight. He missed her, and he could admit it, because despite how silly and light his personality usually was, when it came to her, he became very serious. He really liked her – dare to say, loved her even. They had so much fun together, if he was a girl, they’d probably be the best of friends. He wondered though, if they were going to make it. They both were shameless flirts and lately they hadn’t been as close as they were. He was desperately afraid of losing her.

So here he was, stepping outside of yellow taxi with his few bags in hand. He was standing in front of his hotel, because he hadn’t been invited to stay with Pandora and her friends. He told himself it was because he was a dude, but he knew that wasn’t the reason. He sighed as he walked into the hotel and checked in, took the long walk to his affordable room, to only walk right back down to the bus stop, which dropped him off smack in front of the magic kingdom. Beginning to walk through Main Street, he looked around attentively. He was hoping he would see her today. He wanted to see her as soon as possible. He had arrived a few days later than Pandora, thanks to his college work, so he hoped that she hadn’t forgotten him quite yet in the mist of all her fun in the parks.

Okay, so first, this is just a personal opinion, so take it or leave it, but it would be nice if ‘hood’ was incorporated into the name a little more. I’m also not seeing Cory fit this character. Cory is kind of clueless and cute in that ‘dumb guy with a dream’ sort of way, not really the hero damsel saving outlaw good ol’ rob is. But as I said, personal opinion. Now onto the review.

- He’s way too young to be a fully fledged Paediatrician. First, he’d have been pre-med in college, then about three or four years at Med school, then I think you need an extra three years to specialize. Not to mention the years you spend as an intern before you can earn a MD. I also don’t see the connection between Robin and that occupation.
- “ Some people like to poke fun at him because he is one of the only guys in his class, but he tries to ignore it.” Not sure what you are referring to, but if it’s med school- the medical profession is rather male dominated, actually.
- Your heroic paragraph seems to turn into something that it shouldn’t. You don’t describe his heroic nature so much as his love for people. Its different things. I’m also not sure how much Robin wants to be loved.. I don’t really see him as scrambling for approval. He is who he is, and proud
- I feel like while, yes, he is romantic, it’s really only ever for Marian.
- Uh, eyes don’t grow...
- Please follow the application. You were asked to list your likes on one line with commas.
- He lives in a big city, so that dislike puzzles me...
- Robin Hood IS a scammer. He robs the rich, dresses up, uses trickery. You’ve completely disregarded this part of Robin, which I feel is really important to the character. He’s not called the prince of thieves for nothing. Your application has completely washed over and disregarded one of the core components of the canon character...
- “It didn't stay that way long tough, because he found out that he was apparently, an extremely sough after and attractive guy.” That’s a really sue-ish way to describe a character. I’m not convinced Robin Hood is a ladies man, he never even flirts with anyone besides Marian.
- Fantasia City is a CITY, and a largish one at that and it’s Thomas College, not Tomas university.
- People pre-occupied with sports and friends don’t go too far in pre-med. To be a doctor you kind of need extremely high marks in very challenging courses.

For all the above reasons, I just can’t accept this application. You’ve missed a major part of who Robin Hood is, and for this, I don’t even feel you can edit. If you still want him, I think the best thing is you start again. If you do, consider this though; He Robs the rich to feed the poor. You need to acknowledge that, and find a way to pay homage to that in a modern interpretation. I feel really bad denying that application, because there was nothing wrong with the writing- I just think you missed the point with this character.
