PERSONALITY !

bookish! Belle has always had a love of reading that's unmatchable, this girl could burn through five rather large books a day! It began when she was young and progressed from a hobby into a lifestyle. It would be extremely odd for her to not read at least two chapters a day. She loves how the words on a page can take you anywhere you dared to imagine, and often imagines herself in such situations. She's read everything from Edgar Allen Poe to the Archie comics and has a vast knowledge of them. Having such a love for books, she takes her 'lifestyle' seriously, if you don't know much about this particular subject, don't speak of it because you're sure to get a thorough lecture just to run you through the basics.

kind! Belle is one of those rare girls that are naively innocent; she could be in the worst bit of trouble and if she sees someone who looks like they need help, she'd always think of them before herself. Now call it what you may, either foolish or brave, but that's just the kind of girl Belle's always been. She isn't easily offended and often can come off as a pushover because she enjoys helping so much. She can take alot of mistreatment before enough is enough and as such, if you're rude, she'll put you in your place. Even kindness has a limit, and Belle's extraordinary patience can wear thin if the right subjects are brought about: sexism, discrimination, ignorance, arrogance, any one of these will set her off. But the one thing she positively detests is rudeness and will be sure to tell you exactly how she feels about it.

Brave! Although Belle isn't your conventional heroine, she can neither fight nor put up with being yelled at; she's always been the type to stick up for the little man. From way back when she was a very small child Belle had always been this way. She doesn't take kindly to bullies and, if pushed too far, she'll put you in your proper place without hesitation. Belle will stick her neck out for you in times of need and is never afraid to speak what's on her mind. Amongst this, she voices her opinion often and if she truly believes in it, you'd best give up. When Belle is set on something she rarely changes her mind. She's bold and may jump to conclusions from time to time, but even so she has a voice and knows how to use it; whether for issues or conversations. This little lady is more than a little opinionated.

Emotional! Belle is very..in tune with her emotions. If she feels one way it's very, very difficult for her to hide it. For example, in high school, her then-boyfriend broke up with her during a very public argument in the courtyard, and right then and there Belle broke off into sobs, running away and eventually finding refuge in the S.A.F.E. office where she waited for her father to pick her up. The same issue occurs when she's happy, she simply can't hide it, it's not how she's wired. However, if she's mad, you might just wanna run as far away as possible, because she isn't the type to sit quietly and burn quickly. She comes hard and burns slowly, and she isn't afraid to tell you exactly what she thinks of you. She's an honest person, and as such, she'll be straight-up with you; if she doesn't like you, she'll make sure you're aware of it.

--+She's a very adventurous girl, which is viewed as strange in her culture. She enjoys getting dirty and playing with the boys despite what people may think of her.

--+She isn't a vulgar person, swear words and sexually suggestive words aren't her thing. She finds them disgusting and will never use the actual term. If brought up in a conversation, she'll most likely blush and look away.

--+She's extremely opinionated and refuses to be treated any kind of way. She speaks her mind, even if the situation didn't exactly call for it, and when there's something she feels is worth her standing up for, she'll fight for it until the very end...Which isn't always a good thing.

HISTORY !

Belle Narcisse Rieu was the only child ever born to Odette and Alain Rieu, sadly to say, Mrs. Rieu died in child labour, leaving Mr. Rieu, an aspiring inventor, to raise their little girl. Early on, he got her involved in many things including his inventions, and from there Belle sort of became the oddity that she is today. She grew up learning very early in her life, but quickly took to books and reading, learning to read fluently just before her third birthday. Alain, bless his soul, tried his hardest with Belle, telling her every night, a new story about her mother, trying to keep her memory fresh in Belle's mind. Finally, on her sixth birthday, her father gave Belle a locket with her mother's picture in it, which she wears only on the most special of occasions. The locket meant and means everything to her and from that moment forth Belle and her father were inseperable, another oddity for their culture. Belle could often be seen, a little ten year old girl, buying blueprints for her father down at the hardware store, and soon, it wasn't so strange anymore.

Reaching her teen years, Belle became noticed around town for a different reason; she was turning into a beautiful young woman, some even say the most beautiful in all the land. And accordingly, men began trying to court her, not that Belle took any interest, her heart being stolen into books and writing and such. Which brings us to Gaston, sure Belle'd seen him around school but she'd never paid him too much attention. From what Belle'd heard though, he'd slept with a senior, which positively repulsed her and set her mind on never meeting his acquaintance. But as fate should have it, Belle's poor old father had other plans in mind. He pushed Belle early on to talk to the boy and although Belle'd rather die she listened solely because her father only thought of her well-being.

Leaving highschool, she went onto college where she became a writer, albeit not a very successful one, but a writer no less. Her stories just aren't what people are into nowadays, her stories are about true love, not sex and the general audience isnt too thrilled with a sex-less fade-to-black book anymore. So, along with her failing career, comes Gaston again. Her father is yet again throwing his dearest daughter out on a limb towards this filth of a man and all Belle can do is grin and bear it...but for how much longer, seeing as how she has no feelings towards this man outside of disgust?

Not even so much as glancing up as Charlie entered, Jude immediately felt annoyed. He was well aware of her handiwork and as such felt positively no reason for acting kindly towards her. Nodding towards her silently, he continued to throw back more of his alcohol, hardly giving any attention to the people around him. As Theo entered he did the same, honestly had it not been for Echo he wouldn't of come. He didn't enjoy the Woods' brothers' little game of let's switch partners. He loved his wife dearly and up until the unfortunate event that'd happened not too long ago, he'd thought himself to be a pretty good guy. Cheating disgusted him, lying was the ultimate sin and all was right with the world. And yet here he was now, with people who seemed to enjoy living such ways, and it hardly bothered him, seeing as how he'd fallen so far down the only way he knew to get back up again was to drown his pain in more alcohol.

”Cheer up Jude-y boy. You're among friends,” Glancing up at her, he gave a small nod,"With all do respect, we both know where I'd rather be." Giving reference to the wife he once had, he slumped over the counter again, thoroughly depressed. If you asked everyone in the city to name one adjective to describe Jude, you'd hear more than two-thirds of them give the word consistent. When Jude Finley did something he did it until the end. He'd cut hair consistently, he'd love his wife consistently, his former self died in jail consistently, he missed her consistently, and right now, he was depressed consistently. Jude was just a very thorough guy. ”To husband number eight!” Watching his drinking mates silently, he didn't toast. He understood very well why Echo was on husband number eight, but even so, the thought of having so many bothered Jude.

He applauded her for sticking by her beliefs but having more than one husband, let alone eight was scandalous in this city in the clouds. Downing a shot, he turned to face them finally,"So, we're all here. What do you say to a drinking game?" Downing a second shot, Jude was a scary opponent, always being drunk meant he'd built up quite the tolerance level for alcohol; he would by no means be easy to defeat. Glancing from Echo to Charlie to Theo, and back again, he gave a smirk, this would be interesting.

Before I start reading this, I'd like to see a little more in the the personality section. Don't be afraid to add more meat and details instead of just putting three vague characteristics. You want to analyze your character as if you were their personal psychologist.

This is just my personal opinion and you can totally disregard it since I'm only a trial admin, but I'd really like to see some flaws in there! I know that it's hard because Disney makes their princesses so perfect, but try watching "Beauty and the Beast" again or look up some Belle videos on YouTube and get some flaws from there? Everything else looks great in my opinion! :]

I agree with them as well. Perhaps tell us how her personality traits get her into trouble? She needs some kind of flaw. Even Belle is flawed. Other than that, I wouldn't assume the things about Gaston unless it's been approved by the person who plays Gaston (and it might've been, correct me if I'm wrong I didn't read that application when it came through).

Okay I added in that her emotions rule over her at all times, which isn't necessarily a good thing, and in her quirks I modified her brave personality to include overly-opinionated. And for Gaston, that's from his history, I just added it in to make it fit =)
