PERSONALITY !

DISTRUSTFUL! Jessica has lost many things in her life, mostly people
that said they cared for her, and then for no apparent reason left her alone. She has never had any friends that have stuck around. She has always felt abandoned and like she doesn't belong anywhere - she has never felt accepted. She was adopted as a baby and grew up in a family that she never really felt was "hers". She's very suspicious of people who are 'nice' to her, and she takes promises like a grain of salt. She was made many promises in her life from her adoptive parents, but not a single one was followed through. She doesn't let other people do things for her - she will do it all herself, even if it kills her. She is very weary of people and their baggage and drama. She doesn't deal well with other people's issues... she tends to make them her own and it sends her into a repetitive depression.

LOYAL! BRAVE! She's very faithful and loyal to the friends that she does have - the ones that have continued to prove themselves to her. She doens't have many, so the ones that she does have she tries her best to keep. She doesn't make friends easily, but she's is willing to put in the time if she thinks they are worth it. She is a good secret keeper and doesn't like to stir up any drama. She will stand up for anything that she believes in and will fight for her rights as a human being. She is a fighter instead of a lover... and as much as she would love to have a boyfriend, she doesn't think she could deal with all that drama. She is brave enough to be alone forever.

EXCITABLE! Jessica is very childlike and playful - she will tell jokes and
be sarcastic to make it look like nothing is bothering her. She covers her pain, and other emotions with laughter. Laughter comes easier. She is very easily excited about many things - mostly her favorite things! She's very passionate about life and she likes to experience as much as possible. She is always the first one to try something new... that is why things come to easy to her most of the time - she's willing to work on it until she gets it right. She has also been know to be a little high strung and hot tempered when she doesn't get her way. She can also be a little whiny and childish when someone tells her 'no'... makes he work harder for what she wants.

HISTORY !

Jessica Jane was born into a small un-wealthy family in Dallas, Texas. Her parents gave her up for adoption almost immediately. They had decided that a daughter just wasn’t worth the extra money that they wanted to spend on other things, i.e. drugs. When she was old enough to understand that her parents weren’t really her parents, she felt very betrayed and withdrew from everyone she knew. She didn’t have very many friends in her past and felt like she didn’t belong anywhere,. Like she didn’t even fit into this world.

Years later, after she had done some growing up, she began making some friends and started to feel like she was part of something again. Although things have changed a little for her, she is very distrustful of people she doesn’t know and carries a great deal of sadness and loss around with her. Years of not knowing whom her real parents were left her feeling withdrawn and claustrophobic in the world. Riding horses was her way of breaking free, being herself and having fun.

Her heart still lies in Texas, where she learned a value for sweet tea and carries with her a southern accent. She has appreciation for cowboy boots and adores the outdoors. She followed her friends to Fantasia City - they had heard many things about the life here and how many people had found many opportunities here. She herself was a yodeler – she looked forward to a career here and planned to help others appreciate the art of her voice.

Leaving her adoptive parents was the hardest thing that she had ever made herself do, but she knew that if she didn’t move out soon, she never would. They weren’t too happy about it either, but she had an honest relationship with them ever since the day she found out she wasn’t blood related to them. They understood her feelings of disconnectedness to the world and in this small town in Texas. They knew she would find herself and find her way in the world if she opened her heart and lived her life. So, she moved out – and traveled to Fantasia City.

She’s been here for about two years now. She’s twenty-two years old and many things have changed in her day-to-day life. But she’s proud of everything she’s accomplished and can’t wait to see what happens in the future. She has a more light hearted approach now, and is trying to let the darkness in her past give light to a better future.

(I know some of this might sound really lame, but Jesse isn’t perfect. She was abandoned by her child and left in storage before Toy Story 2. I tried to play off that feeling of being alone and tried to show how she’s changed in the movies to be a brighter person now, although still a little hesitant to trust people. I hope this is close to the character for this RP – I can add/change anything you don’t see that fits her character. I used wikipedia as a source of help to write up her past. A swanky charity event for a children's hospital was not his cup of tea...he got dressed all in black to remain behind the scenes and hopped into his Jeep to drive down to the Marina. The party is at the Club at the Harbor on the coast. He was hired as a free lance photographer for a local magazine to go that night and take photos of the Senator and B-List Celebrities that were supposed to show up.

That night was all about another paycheck for his photos.He arrived a little early and walked around the property before the party was about to begin, he noticed that some quests had already arrived. Some other photographers and local press had shown up as well. He asked a hostess about the night, what was going on that night, where the celebrity tables were and where they would be sitting and standing while the event would take place. He wanted to know the key places he needed to be in to catch all the key people on his list to photograph from the magazine. He had to get a few shots of each of them, and then the magazine would choose which ones that they want to use for the article.

He had photographed many of these events before, but this was his first at the marina on the harbor. It was beautiful. There was a wall of windows overlooking the lines of docked boats, ships and sailboats. It was peaceful and the party was going to be an evening party. The sun was setting over the coast line and he just smiled. He loved living in Florida. He hoped to own a boat one day, and be able to dock it here at the marina.

He found a corner in the large ballroom to unpack his camera and set up his tripod. He wanted to be prepared for the arrival of all the guests and celebrities. He had to be on his A-game tonight. He wanted to get some good shots, he was hoping these photos added to his portfolio would help him get more jobs. He worked on his equipment, getting his settings right with the light in the room, waiting for the party to start!
