"Eeeee... va?" -Wall-E
NAME: Wallace Thomas Edginton NICKNAMES: Wall-e AGE: Eighteen BIRTHDAY: June 13 ORIENTATION: Heterosexual NATIONALITY: American OCCUPATION: Busboy PLAYED BY: Colin Morgan DISNEY: Wall-E USER GROUP: Reluctant Hero
PERSONALITY !
CURIOUS! Wall-E loves exploring or even learning new things. As a child, he spent hours in his backyard discovering new insects and animals. His eyes gleam in excitement every time Wall-E learns something new. One of the most important contributions to Wall-E’s curiosity is books. He has read a variety of literature from Shakespeare to Mark Twain. If it ever rained in Ohio, Wall-E spent lots of time in the public library. He must have read nearly all the novels with the limited amount of literature.
SOFT-SPOKEN! Especially when he meets someone new, Wall-E could come out as a shy person. He hates butting into people’s business and tends to stay back before he introduces himself. It is not like that he does not trust others but he has always been a quiet kid. When someone yells at him, that will make Wall-E nervous and he will be too embarrassed to even look at you. He hates it when people get mad at him and usually he tries his best to make them feel better.
WELL-MANNERED! Wall-E is one of the kindest people ever. No one will ever hear any insults out of him. He usually tries to please others. Learning from his mother, Wall-E tends to say his please and thank you’s too much. Other than that, Wall-E loves to compliment others. He does not judge anyone and hates to see anyone down. He has this sort of friendless that comes out when he tries to ignore his shyness and allows his curiosity to meet someone interesting.
LONELY! After living in a small town for his whole life, Wall-E really did not have any friends or close family. His class had a total of ten kids ranging from a variety of ages. After spending so much time by himself, Wall-E believed that the city would lead to new opportunities and excitement in his life. Also, he hopes to make new friends to learn more fascinating things.
STRONG! Even if Wall-E is soft-spoken, that does not mean that he would stand up for himself. Wall-E might be scared at first but he would hate to see anyone he cares about in danger. This will lead to the guy literally stumbling every word to eventually form a sentence that makes sense. Anyway, Wall-E might look small but he has more strength than he knows.
QUIRKS: Wall-E is a pack rat. His small one-room apartment is filled with junk but Wall-E believes that it’s interesting. Also, he seems to fold his hands especially when he is nervous.
LIKES: exploring, holding hands, dancing, music, romance, stars, insects, plants, technology, movies, reading DISLIKES: littering, scary-looking people, lying, bossy people, thunderstorms, coffee, being lonely, tears, global warming
HISTORY !
Wallace Thomas Edginton was born in Cloverdale, Ohio on a warm summer day. His mother was Mary Edginton and his father was never in the picture. The family of two lived in the small town with a population of less than 100. Everyone called the boy Wall-E because as a toddler, Wallace had trouble pronouncing his full name and Wall-E was the only word that came out of his quiet voice. While growing up, Wall-E did not have many friends since most of the children were never around his age. His school only had one classroom ranging grades from Kindergarten to 8th grade. However, Wall-E always was a smart boy and that intelligence grew when the class took a field trip to the public library. Even if the town only offered a small selection of literature, Wall-E fell in love with reading. He even went back right after school to check out books.
So, that's what Wall-E did was read and explore in his childhood. After reading exciting books like the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Wall-E would spend hours outside. He would walk around the town to find new things to his collection. That included junk like magazines and an old school stereo. His room was filled with everything from his collection. Ms. Edginton complained that all that junk was covering the floor of his room but Wall-E begged her to keep it. Going into his teen years, Wall-E never caused trouble other than an usual scolding he got about his junk or wandering around town.
He took school seriously and even convinced his mother to enter into a high school program that was available a few miles away. Even if it meant waking up five in the morning to catch the bus, Wall-E loved the small high school. He never participated in many activities especially when his mother went through breast cancer. Instead, Wall-E picked up a job or two at nights since his mother refused to stop going to school to raise money for the family. He took her to doctors but they couldn't afford any of the treatments. And in the beginning of his sophomore year, Mary Edginton died. Wall-E was devastated but he continued to work hard. He moved in to his grandparents' house who also lived in Cloverdale. He managed to graduate high school but he had trouble to receive financial aid so he decided that he would not go to college for now.
At the age of eighteen, Wall-E had enough of Cloverdale and believed it was time to move to the city of Fantasia. He could get a job and raise enough money to live a good life. Saying goodbye to his grandparents, Wall-E packed up his clothes and collection and was off to Fantasia city. In the city, Wall-E found an apartment with the cash that his grandparents provided to at least cover the month's rent. The apartment only has one room and it's pretty shabby but it is now filled with Wall-E's collection. Wall-E was instantly impressed by the people and the poor small town boy had a little trouble at first fitting in with the chaos and loudness. With the variety of jobs he picked up in the past year, Wall-E currently works as a Busboy at a fancy restaurant. The pay is okay until he looks for a better job but it's hard to find one with just a high school degree. Wall-E still loves the city and even after almost a year living here, he loves the lights, the technology and the people.
SAMPLE !
jacob edward belby was fixing his bow tie in the mirror. what did the teenagers tell him last night on the elevator? bow ties are lame. no, bow ties are not lame. bow ties are cool. he made sure that the tie was fixed as he grinned widely in the mirror. yeah, bow ties are very, very cool. since it was supposed to be nice out today, jake decided to wear casual pants, a green button-up shirt and a matching dark green bow tie. if you already knew jake, then you would not find it shocking on what it was wearing. yes, it was very peculiar but jake had always had his very own sense of style. however, today was a very important day. he was going to give a tour of new york city to a girl named adrienne oceana. he had just met the girl yesterday during one of his tea parties and she told him that she never been exploring around new york city. how could she spend her time studying? jake might have just met her but he had to change that. a mischievous grin appeared when he was going to show adi the time of her life.
taking one last look in the mirror, he decided that he should put on a hat just in case. it was a like a black top hat but not as tall and jake decided to throw in a pair of retro sunglasses in his pocket. he had already brought a bunch of things: his camera and a bag. what was in the bag? oh, you'll find out in a bit. it was a surprise. jake turned off his lights and locked the apartment door. whistling softly, he walked down the hall and greeted his neighbor, dorothy, who made lovely red velvet cake by the way. the twenty three year old lived on the second floor and pushed the button. he wished he lived a bit higher though. there were usually so many interesting people in elevators. reaching the lobby, jacob had noticed that adi was not here yet. well, they did plan to meet at quarter to nine and it was only eight thirty. really? jake looked at the lobby's clock and it was true. he decided to take a seat in the lobby though.
usually, jake never came early to meet people. he was very excited to hang out with adi though. he still wasn't sure on what he thought about her. she was quiet and shy but something told her that she needed to have some fun in her life. jake personally thought she was very pretty but they had this strange connection. she already knew about his family and jake never talked about his life in harvard or his father's wishes for him to become a lawyer. jake just never gotten that serious. however, the two had a connection with privileged lives and controlling fathers. it wasn't like that common thing had him interested on learning more about adi. also, he promised her a tour of new york city and she promised him to wear a statue of liberty hat. he grinned softly because he was only going to focus on having adi to have some excitement in her life. he had the day planned out already and jake was excited.
a few minutes later, jake might as well been bouncing in his seat and he wondered where the security guards were. there was only a doorman and the person working the front desk. suddenly, the elevator dinged and came out adrienne oceana. he grinned brightly and literally jumped up. he left his things on the comby chair as he exclaimed, "adi oceana! good morning." he was usually very chipper in the morning. with a laugh, he asked her, "are you ready for jake belby's wild nyc tour?" she really should see that he could get crazier than a little girl's tea party. his smile indicated that she was going to have a blast. however, he stopped and said, "oh... wait. i almost forgot." her gift! you couldn't start a tour without something from your host. running like a small kid, he grabbed his camera and her bag. turning to her, he handed her the bag and said with a cheeky grin, "here you go." he spent all morning finding all the souvenirs in his closet. he gave her a nyc mug, new york yankees foam finger, key chains, a nyc hat, t-shirt (that might have been a bit big because it was for him but jake was not a heavy guy) and the promised statue of liberty hat. without even waiting for her to guess, he cried in excitement with a smile, "it's a welcoming bag to new york city!" he couldn't help but laugh now since adi was not a tourist or a newbie to the city. but jake thought it would be funny to have her own collection of souvenirs since it was her first time exploring the city. smiling softly, he at least hoped that she liked souvenirs. some found them tacky but jake absolutely loved them since he got to show his love for new york city. anyway, jake waited patiently for adi's reaction.
