"But, we shouldn't!" - Lady
NAME: Sophia Olivia Dalton NICKNAMES: Soph, Sophie AGE: Eighteen BIRTHDAY: December 25th ORIENTATION: Heterosexual NATIONALITY: Her father's family came over from England, her mother's family from France. PLAYED BY: Emma Watson DISNEY: Lady of Lady & The Tramp USER GROUP: Heroine
PERSONALITY !
POLITE! She was always raised to be a lady, brought up properly by her parents. She was taught manners, how to conduct herself in a way so as not to embarrass herself or her family. She will be polite in virtually any situation, partially out of habit, and sometimes even as a defense. Sometimes she's a bit too well-mannered, coming off as cold and stuck-up.
SHY! She was raised without much social interaction, beyond playmates who her parents approved of, and neighbors she would occasionally run into. She's hesitant to strike up conversations with new people, and would rather sit quietly by herself or with people she's comfortable with.
INNOCENT! She's had a very sheltered life, being homeschooled, and raised with such strict rules. She's naive, trusting, and often clueless, to the point where it could eventually be dangerous. She thinks the best of people, and lacks any street smarts at all.
PRISSY! Not the nicest way to put it, but it's true. She cares very much about her appearance. She is a bit of a neat freak, has some mild OC, and will flip out about things like dirt and bugs. She was raised with privilege, and isn't fully aware of the truth of the world, and therefore can be stuck-up. Not in a malicious way, just in an uninformed way.
QUIRKS:
LIKES: 1. Her Tiffany necklace. It's a silver square, hanging off the chain by one of the corners, with her initials "SOD" in calligraphy script. 2. Her planner. Organization is key! 3. Make-up. It's always important to look put-together. 4. Her baby brother. 5. Taking long walks around the neighborhood where she lives. 6. Shopping for clothing. 7. Classic literature. 8. Classical music, especially when performed live. 9. Being complimented. 10. Old Hollywood, especially movies with Audrey Hepburn or other such glamorous stars.
DISLIKES: 1. Rude people. 2. Going out in public while not put together. 3. Rock music. Pop music, rap music, anything on the radio. 4. Going into the bad parts of town. 5. Cats. 6. Her cell phone. It's useful, but it seems to only be a tool for her parents to always be checking on her, and keeping her on a leash. 7. Watching sports. 8. Hot summer days. 9. The beach. 10. Indian food.
HISTORY !
Sophia has been sheltered all of her life. Her parents treasured her, she was like a gift to them, born on Christmas Day. They thought she was perfect, their beautiful little lady, and they raised her with that in mind. She was spoiled, in many ways. She was given almost everything she asked for, as an only child, and since the Daltons had the money to provide it, they did. Toys, clothing, games, books, dolls, anything her precious little heart desired. They lived in Duckberg, the suburbs just outside of Fantasia city, in a five bedroom house, though there was only the three of them. Deciding she was too special to place into the hands of anyone else, the Daltons decided to homeschool their little girl. She excelled, displaying a great amount of intelligence.
While her education certainly did not suffer from this, other aspects of her life did. Sophia had very little interaction with the outside world, or other kids her age. She would occasionally play with the kids in the neighborhood, but as they got older, this grew less frequent. Her parents would occasionally schedule playdates with the children of their high society friends, but it didn't take long for her to outgrow these arranged meetings. As she transitioned from a child into a young woman, her parents grew more and more strict, keeping her on an increasingly tight leash. She wasn't allowed to leave the house without constantly checking in. Though she had very little desire to seek out a social life, partially because of her almost crippling shyness, the rules were inconvenient enough to remove any hope of it at all.
When she was seventeen, her baby brother was born. His name was Samuel Dalton, and she loved him from the moment she saw him. With her having finished her high school education, and a one year old baby, her parents began to pay less and less attention to her. Their grip on her leash loosened. She's aware of this, but has yet to test the limits. She's scared of this newfound freedom, and the fact that she's starting University in Fantasia City in the upcoming fall. She'll be on her own for the first time, and the thought scares her more than even she knows. For now she's living much as she always has, taking care of her brother during the day, reading or taking walks at night. She's on the brink of becoming an adult, and she's not exactly welcome the change.
SAMPLE !
Sophia Dalton was sitting very still, her legs crossed at the ankles. Her little black planner was open in her lap, and a pen was poised gracefully in her hand. She was making tiny little marks in the boxes, her penstrokes combining to form an elegant, practiced script. She prided herself in her handwriting. It was small and always legible, the curves of her letters consistent in everything she wrote. She took time with her penmanship, never scrawling out something in a rush. She always made sure the letters were distinct, that they flowed together, stayed on the line, and formed an easily read word. If someone were to look through her planner, this would be made perfectly clear.
She was currently writing in the date of her next dentist's appointment, kindly provided to her by the receptionist sitting behind the glass partition. She had scheduled the next one as she was waiting for the one she had today, something she had picked up from her mother. It was hard to schedule something six months in advance, but that was what planners were for. She finished up her writing, crossing her t's and carefully closing the small black book. She slipped it into her black leather purse, clicking the pen closed and pushing it in after.
Sophia then zipped her purse closed, placing it neatly beside her. With a deep breath, she glanced at the clock, not out of impatience, but merely out of curiosity. The dentist's assistant would be calling her in at any moment, it was already ten minutes past the scheduled time. As if her thoughts had cued the action, another patient walked from the back of the office. She watched him as he went to the coat rack, startled when a silver object fell from this pocket to the floor with a soft thud. He didn't notice, and it soon became apparent that the object was his cell phone, and he was going to leave without it. She decided it was necessary to inform him.
“Excuse me, sir!” she called out after him, hesitant to raise her voice. He didn't turn, so she sprang up from her seat, running up to him as he was opening the door. She reached up a hand, tapping him on the shoulder. He turned around, looking down at her with a curious expression. Immediately she could feel herself blush. “You've dropped your cell phone,” she said meekly, her eyes on the device as she held it out to the man.

Your personality paragraphs were a little on the short side, but I think adding the fourth one makes up for that. As a future now, don't start all your sentences with she. The only reason I'm not making you change it is because your sample counters the way your personality paragraphs were written. Have fun!
