♥♥♥. It was no surprise that little Miss Kiana Rae Leona was out and about, spazzing through Pride Rock Zoo. The place was nearly her second home and boy did she wish it was! The zoo was a great place to be with all their wide streets, many benches and super cute animals that the typical animal lover can’t help but screech at and Kiana was definitely an animal lover. Some days she can just sit around at the zoo for hours staring at her favorite exibit: the lions. She never seems to get enough of those savanna gold wild cats and who could blame her? They perplexed her and intrigued her. Plus, she felt a sort of connection to each of them.
However, Kiana did find interest in other animals like the black and white pandas who never seem tired of chewing their bamboo, and the stout hippopotami whom Kiana just loved to watch amble their way to the water then out of the water and right back again. It would bring a smile to Kiana’s face any day- even tho anything really could make her smile. Even the simple art of people watching amused her long enough to keep the little ball of energy from bouncing around the park bothering people. However, it wouldn’t be long before she did so, walking up to people and asking them how their day has been or if they’ve been enjoying the zoo. Most people found it annoying or completely strange seeing that Kiana was seventeen and she was clearly not a zookeeper. However, Kiana did have plans to work at the Pride Rock Zoo when she was old enough. She absolutely loved the place and maybe people would talk to her a bit more if she was part of the zoo staff.
Till then, Kiana would just have to walk around like any normal visitor- or run around in Kiana’s case. With a sigh, Kiana sat herself down at her favorite bench that stood a few feet behind the glass cages of the lion exhibit. There she began to ponder about how boring her day was turning out to be. Although she loved coming to the zoo and didn’t mind paying the ten bucks entrance almost everyday, she did have a problem when she had nothing to do. She’d just struck up a conversation with a large family a few minutes ago but with a slightly irritated expression on their face, they urged Kiana to leave saying that they ‘had to go get some popcorn’. Of course Kiana was left to ponder why they would need their whole family there to order a bag of popcorn for Kiana would have talked to anyone in their group, but seeing that they were in a sort of hurry, she shrugged it off and let them be. Little did she know, as she turned to walk away, they were gone in an instant.
Therefore, the zoo was never fun unless she had a friend or someone to talk to. Random people would usually due, but today was a lonely day with nothing to do but sit and watch the lions groom each other. Maybe it could become something more. Maybe…

Rory loved zoos. Fact. Why? Because they had tigers in. Duh. Rory adored tigers. They were possibly her favourite thing in the entire world. She’d watched documentary after documentary on them as a kid until she knew everything about them that she possibly could. It was rare for Rory to be so enthusiastic about learning about something, as usually she found the whole process of learning anything very difficult. She wasn’t good at school, her dyslexia created a huge mental barrier between her and her studies that she wasn’t ready to overcome. So, the television or radio was the next best way for her to learn, she didn’t have to read things then. Unfortunately, school documentaries were tedious and dull, so the point was void. Still, back to zoos. Rory spent far too money going to the zoo, at least for her liking. It wasn’t getting into the zoo that cost, it was the amount of junk food she bought while in there that cost her lots of money. She just liked to eat candyfloss all of the time. It just so happened that the zoo sold it in little carts all across the park and Rory ate it incredibly fast. Inevitably, she spent a lot of money on candyfloss and soft drinks and popcorn.
Today, however, Rory had no money left after paying to get into the zoo, so was stuck with not eating any of the lovely delicacies around the place. She passed her favourite candyfloss vender who looked to her with a smile. ”Nothing for you today then?” he asked and Rory shook her head. ”I haven’t got any money today.” she explained, stubbing her toes into the ground. The vender looked around then quickly passed a bag of candyfloss to Rory regardless and winked at her as if to say ‘our secret’. Rory wasn’t about to argue with free candyfloss so grinned, nodded and skipped off towards the big cats. The sun was shining on her petite frame, illuminating the pale skin that was exposed by Rory’s blue playsuit. Of course, the sun reflected best off of her hair; the bright orange mop was hard to miss, even in a zoo as busy as this. Rory skipped through the crowds of people, following the arrows to the big cat enclosures. She liked the business, there wasn’t any silence around her, which was comforting to the loud sixteen year old. Rory’s favourite environments were busy and fun and noisy and had, in her mind, adventures around every corner.
Rory rounded the corner into the big cats section and immediately walked over to the tiger enclosure. She grinned, standing as close as was allowed to the massive striped cats on the other side of the glass. She loved them. They were huge and majestic and oddly cute. Rory stood and watched them for a while, her head tilted slightly to the side in a stance that made her look a bit like a curious kitten. After a while she looked away from the tigers and looked around, getting a little lonely. For a while she didn’t spot anyone, before she noticed the blonde hair of Kiana over by the lions. Rory grinned happily and ran over to her friend, jumping up next to her. ”Kiana!”
she said brightly, still smiling. ”Tigers are better you know. They’ve got awesome stripes and stuff. Plus you get white ones which are really pretty.” she said, rocking on the balls of her feet. She was glad she’d found Kiana, now she had someone to talk to and someone who liked the zoo just as much as she did. comments too lazy to code this out xD it's 606 words and her outfit is here: click.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
