PERSONALITY !
CHILDLIKE! He has been a kid at heart ever since he can remember, including childhood. He just never stopped dreaming to go a bit further than before, and is always daring himself to go the extra mile for him or someone else. For example, when Eli was six, he saw the movie Hook and abruptly declared that he wanted to be an actor, and hasn't taken it back since. He has a tendency to be just as spacey as a child can be, but makes up for it by loving more than most- trust me. Being a naturally optimistic, calm person makes him extremely likable to some, and incredibly annoying to others. He can talk all day long like a child would, or be quiet and contemplative. It all depends on his mood, which he proudly displays on his sleeve. Being a free-thinker also gives him quiet the imagination, which he lets out through art- painting, to be exact, though he's dabbled in animation here and there, and wants it 'to be a fall back if this acting thing doesn't work out'. As you can see, Eli can hope all day, and thats normally his source of power. WORK-A-HOLIC! Developed early in childhood, Elias has always been a hard worker, whether or not he had to be. He was always one for finishing first, or finishing last and being better than everyone else. He takes pride and joy in his work, and doesn't know what he'd do without it. When he starts something, he normally goes all the way through and finishes it first, instead of leaving it to finish later. This has caused him to have many a sleepless nights and he's missed more than a few dinners, and he still has more to miss. He'll gladly let you know he can't come out of his office to have a few drinks or go out with some friends, and that you'd probably have to deal with it. It's something everyone around him has gotten used to, so hopefully you have. NAIVE! You know that moment in life when you realize everyone is out to get you? Well, Eli never had that moment. He's incredibly friendly to everyone he meets, and loves to get to know people- whether or not they feel the same. He can be bit blind to people's true intentions, but he'll never get angry about it. It's not their fault that they have the weight of the world on their shoulders, and he knows that because he's been there a few times. Sure, you can use him up until there is nothing left, and he won't notice for a while, but he always forgives in the end- which has left him in jumbles more than a few times. Still, he picks himself up and carries on, feeling sorry for the person who did it to him. CARING! This is sort of a given when it comes to him. Call him up at four in the morning crying, Elias will be there with a hanky and a hug in less then a minute. He can't stand when people cry, but has always been there to say the right thing at the right time. Elias is a pro at cheering people up, also, so this factors in a bit. If you're angry about something or another, just call up Eli and he'll listen on and on, and then even give you some feedback! He loves giving advice, and loves taking care of people even more. You could even call him a mother hen of sorts, if it suits you. But beware: He's a cheesy joke cracker. LOYAL! Eli has always been loyal. Actually, he's probably as loyal as they come. Need to bury a body? Elias. Need to break into a shop? Call him up! Okay, so maybe not those things, but he'd definitely watch your dog for a week if you go out of town, or go help beat up the guy who made moves on your wife. He isn't afraid to get down and dirty for people he loves, and he means everything he does. When he becomes friends with someone, he becomes their friend with his whole heart. He doesn't want to let you down, and he often won't.
QUIRKS: Leaves his toothbrush anywhere and everywhere he can, smiles at the most serious situations for no real reason, tends to smile at random people on the street, jiggles his leg when he's working, a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to painting, doesn't own a tv, tends to never brush his hair, takes a shower every morning
LIKES: Painting Music Acting Lady Bugs Oranges Women Working Studying Friends DISLIKES: Rats Snakes Deadlines No phone signal Extremely hot weather Pessimists Alcohol/Drugs Abuse of any kind The News Oceans
HISTORY !
Elias Michael Walters was born in the City of London on May 15th, 1986, to a slightly poor, fatherless home. Of course, that didn't bother him too much. He was a hard working little kid, but loved playing even more. He didn't have a horrible childhood, and actually sort of enjoyed it. Generally, his mother had trouble keeping a job, but they got along anyways. When he was six, he watched the movie Hook, and was mesmerized by Robin Williams. He instantly knew he wanted to act when he got older, and declared it to the world in an often dramatic fashion. Being a fun-loving kid, he was also often into mischief around the neighborhood and was the talk of their street half the time, the little old ladies on and on about how adorable he was, or how obnoxious he was becoming.
Thankfully, he grew out of the phase and went on to be the most boring teenager you would probably ever meet. He often stayed to himself, drawing for the most part, but during drama class it was different. Deemed a 'drama nerd' from the beginning of freshman year until the end of highschool, he wore it proudly and adored acting. High school wasn't really what he would call his 'formative years' seeing as he wasn't exactly popular, or interested in that sort of thing at all, actually. He knew since he was seventeen that he had wanted to go off to Fantasia and try and made it big, and never really took his eyes off of the prize since then.
So when he was nineteen and all graduated and whatnot, he kissed his mum goodbye and headed off to Fantasia, where everything was golden and everyone was beautiful. Of course, this was all in his mind at the time and he only figured it was such. When he got here, it wasn't too golden, and not everyone was beautiful, but that was what London was like, so it couldn't be all bad! He spent quite a bit of time establishing his career, getting his name and face into a few indie films and even fewer blockbusters.
Currently, he resides in in the city, working as a minor animator for a children's tv show, doing freelance stuff here and there, but mostly wishing he could find his 'big break', whatever that is. Being a determined fellow, Elias is still searching for that elusive starring role that is so awfully hard to find.
SAMPLE !
Paul scoffed at her, rolling his eyes. "I don't think Paul would appreciate all this talk of good-looking men coming out of your mouth." He teased back as he looked towards the window. A small breeze ruffled the curtains and Paul breathed in, holding the breathe for a moment, he felt a bit restless, as well. Being cooped up in a large house was great fun on a rainy day, but today was breezy and the sun was actually out.
"We should plan a little picnic of sorts. An outing or something." Paul said as he looked back over to Jane with an almost hopeful look on his face. "Or go somewhere. We couldn't possibly stay in here all day, laying around." Although this was on a list of things to for Paul, laying around on this particular day didn't seem like a good idea, especially with the way he was feeling currently.
Reaching out, Paul ran his finger in circles on her back absentmindedly, wondering where they could possibly go. It was sunny, meaning everyone would be out today. For once, he would like to take Jane to dinner without anyone recognizing him and taking their picture. It felt like all people ever did was take pictures and ask questions, and although he didn't mind it while he was out with the boys, he did mind it when he was trying to have a night out with his girlfriend.
"You should of. I'm a filthy man." Paul joked in return to her chiding, though there was slight silence afterwards. She was thinking about his last question, obviously. It didn't seem like the topic she was in the mood for, but if he didn't ask her now, Paul was worried he'd get to the day before they were due to be on the plane and ask her to come. America was a big deal, and Paul didn't know if Jane even wanted to put up with it.
"Yes, America." He murmered, waiting impatiently for her answer, and when she did, he waited again for the word he was looking for so he could properly discuss it: Why? When it didn't come, Paul started watching the ceiling again, wondering how he'd go about this. "Would you ever entertain the idea of going back?" He asked, not looking at her. "Maybe with me and the boys?" There it goes. Finally out in the open.
Paul put on a small pout and shook his head at her next remark. "How dare you think of even laying your hands on the guitars, especially with evil intentions in mind." Paul said as seriously as possible before giving in and smirking at her. His eyes settled on the guitars propped against random things, and he wondered for a few moments if they could just go lay out in the backyard. He could bring a guitar and write, even.
The fact that his words had surprised Jane surprised Paul, seeing as he hadn't thought too much about the subject at all. It had just come to his mind, and he liked it enough to say it outloud without a second thought. "They are a terrible mess." He began, shrugging. "But I meself never had one, either. Some friends down the street from me and my dad had a little yapper. Loud little thing." He rambled, getting lost in his thoughts about childhood after it'd come to mind.
