Here at ooh gosh! we like to keep it simple, so here are the basic things you need to know to get along just fab here! Don't follow these and well.. You might find your stay harder then it needs to be.

respect !

R.E.S.P.E.C.T, find out what it means to me! -sings-.. ehem. Anyway, respect. Learn it, Love it, Live it. The basic 'treat others as you would like to be treated' idea is key. You don't have to like everyone, just don't be petty about it. If there are serious issues, please contact an admin.

posting !

We have no rules on how often you need to post, so don't fret about that, however we ask that each in character post (that isn't fast play or chat play) is at least 350 words. This should be easy for you to post, not a stretch. Also, watch your content. Mature references are fine, but as far as mature content goes, do not post graphic descriptions or details. Stick to the TOS.

graphics !

Please do not stretch the site. There is even a post going into more details about how to avoid it. Here at ooh gosh! we offer avatars that can be any size up to 140/200. Which is the size I am using. Signatures can not be larger then 400 pixels in width. There is no limit on height, but don't go crazy with it.

applying !

Please read all the relevant information before applying. Follow the application form correctly. While we get some people need to post unfinished applications, please note you will only have seven days to complete them (Unless of course you have a situation, in such case it can be discussed). Please title your application with "first middle last !" Your application must contain proper capitalization, as must all of your IC posts, except for texts, IMs/Chats and email.

registering !

You can use any user-name you like, as pro boards allows you to change your display name. Please change your display name to 'FIRST MIDDLE LAST' all in capitals. Please set your account gender to your character's gender- it helps us see the gender ratio.

characters !

Don't just slap a Disney character onto your character. Really think about it. It's the subtle connections that make for a great character. Also be fair with the characters you take. Everyone wants some main action, so don't reserve three princess characters. That just isn't fair. Only four mains per person, but you must play minor characters. If you already have three mains (and no other characters) and ask for another, you will not be allowed. Also please do not assume things of other characters. Just because you want things to go a certain way, the person playing the other character may not. For example, if you play Jasmine, do not assume that whoever plays The Sultan wants to be Jasmine's father. Ask first, or if he's not taken try a plot request. Thank you.

activity !

As already said we don't have any rules on how often to post. We just ask you be mindful. You know how busy you are and what you can handle. Don't leave people waiting forever for a post without an explanation. It's just not fair.

requesting !

When posting in the "wanted ads" section of the plotting board, please be flexible. We don't want anyone backed into a corner just because someone insists who-ever plays chip has to be a seven-year-old boy. Also, when requesting movies in the character list, please intend to play one of those characters. Requesting just to find ones we've missed gets kind of hectic.
